Based on recent research on changing market demand and competitive conditions, the company has decided to revise the original 500-series excavators (including DX500 and DX520) into three new models: DX520, DX530, and DX550.

The 500-series is the flagship product line of Douxin excavators. Apart from the 230-series, Douxin’s 500-series has also been widely popular among customers, with steady sales growth over the past two years. The 500-series is mainly used for mining excavation and transportation, and is also widely applied to earthwork and stonework in major road construction, large public and commercial engineering projects.

As customers’ diversified demands continue to grow, the original 500-series could no longer fully meet all requirements. The new three-model 500-series basically covers lightweight, medium‑duty, and heavy‑duty applications in terms of configuration.

In terms of specifications, the main changes involve the engine and main pump. The engine power of the DX520 and DX530 has been adjusted to 238 kW and 257 kW respectively, while the DX550 remains the same as the original DX520. The corresponding flow rates have also been adjusted accordingly.

With these revisions, the digging force and travel speed of the new 500-series excavators are now well‑matched to the needs of lightweight, medium‑duty, and heavy‑duty users. Improvements have also been made to the body structure and appearance, enhancing both heat dissipation performance and visual comfort.

The new 500-series excavators have been well‑received by customers right after launch. Since being introduced to the market at the end of July, more than 10 units were ordered within just a few days, and the workshop has been busy with the delivery of the new DX550 and DX520 models.
